Participants in this workshop will be introduced to the drawing concepts and techniques used to draw figures from a live model. Several different exercises and drawings will emphasize gesture, contours, mass, proportion and values. Graphite, charcoal and a variety of expressive media will be used to explore these techniques. Interested students will have the opportunity to complete some finished works for their art portfolios.
